A Southern California lifelong resident, Dr. Lizzy Moore (she/her) is a skilled consultant acquired for her transformational leadership techniques, guided productivity, and organizational vision, centralizing the client’s core objectives to achieve a measurable impact. Core tenets of her work include diversity, equity, inclusion, a sense of belonging, and justice. She loves music, all aspects of the ocean, skiing, and quality time with friends and family.
Since 2013, Dr. Moore has served as Foundation President and Dean of Institutional Advancement at Santa Monica College. Moore’s primary role is to design innovative strategies to advance the district’s mission by leading a team that cultivates and stewards relationships and identifies revenue streams to support its students, faculty, and programs. Before joining SMC, Dr. Moore spent nearly a decade at the Recording Academy, known best for the GRAMMY Awards, where her organizational leadership guided the Academy through redesigning and developing its governance policies and procedures. Moore's primary management responsibilities included industry relations, operational management, membership acquisition, board development, and leveraging the Academy’s advocacy arm with local, state, and national impact. Moore was influential in assembling top industry leaders to mobilize and support passing the CA legislature for permanent funding for arts education in public schools. Dr. Moore attributes many of her skills to her educational roots, serving as a classroom teacher for Los Angeles Unified and Santa Monica-Malibu Unified Districts and leading corporate relations for P.S. Arts.org.
